Why choose me as your foot care nurse?
Certifications and other qualifications:
- Registered member of The College Of Nurses
- Member of Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
- Certified registered provider through Veterans Affairs (Green-Shield)
- 'The Art and Science of Burring' certificate
A foot care nurse has received additional specialized training in foot care. Many diabetics and seniors have difficulty taking care of their feet due to poor mobility, eye sight, or loss of strength in their hands. At times, even the best of us can’t see the bottom of our feet.
As a registered practical nurse, I've been dedicated to helping people improve their health since 1999. I have come to understand that healthy feet equals a happier you. My goal is to utilize my experience, specialty training as a certified advanced foot care nurse, and my passion for people, to ensure that everyone has access to the tools they need to stay happy and healthy. The best part is I will come to you!
I can’t wait to hear from you and together we can make your feet happy.

Services
Common Foot Care Issues
- Overgrown/curling toe nails
- Ingrown toe nails
- Extreme thickening of the nail
- Calluses
- Nail fungus
- Diabetic related issues
Initial Assessment (approx 60mins)
At your initial assessment we will get the big picture on your current foot health. This includes items such as discussing your health history, checking your pulse, visual examination of your feet, foot treatment (nail clipping, reduction of corns, calluses, thickened nails etc.) and a foot massage to end the visit.
I will always provide necessary referrals when your care needs exceed that of a certified foot care nurse, and we will take the time to ensure you know how to take the best care of your refreshed feet until our next visit.
Follow up (approx 45mins)
Follow up visits are recommended every six to eight weeks to keep your feet comfortable and healthy. Follow up visits will also include a visual examination of your feet, foot treatment (nail clipping, reduction of corns, calluses, thickened nails etc.) and a foot massage to end the visit.
Polish Application
In addition to your foot care, I would be happy to provide basic hand care and apply nail polish to toes and finger nails (additional cost applies).
